Years ago, Singapore Airlines was the first to offer free drinks and complimentary headsets. More recently, they pioneered in-flight telecommunications services and unparalleled in-flight luxury. In 2007, Singapore Airlines celebrated its 60th Anniversary and were the first to put the world's largest plane into service.

Singapore Airlines also allows you to order your meal before you fly. Children are also catered for and those travellers with special meal requirements are also looked after.

Inflight Entertainment

Singapore Airlines also offers excellence in inflight entertainment to its passengers to fill those hours in the air. With movies, a mixture of television programmes from a wide variety of genres, music, games, connectivity in the sky and your own phone. All these wonderful features are found on selected aircraft throughout the Singapore Airlines fleet.


Singapore Airlines has two lounges: the SilverKris Lounge and the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge. The KrisFlyer Gold Lounge is only found in Singapore's Changi Airport and offers you all the luxuries of a gold lounge with food and beverages, connectivity, comfort and convenience. The KrisFlyer Gold Lounge is accessible to those passengers who are KrisFlyer Elite Gold and Star Alliance Gold members.

The SilveKris Lounge is accessible to those passengers who are flying in Suites, First and Business Class or are a PPS club member, this also includes access to partner lounges around the world. SilverKris Lounges are found throughout the world in the following cities - Penang, Singapore, San Francisco, Bangkok, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Kuala Lumpur, Manilla, Hong Kong, London, Taipei and Amsterdam. With food and beverages, news, and the ability to work away from your office, all you could wish for in a lounge.
