Jetstar was introduced as Qantas' solution to the growing competitive domestic market for discount air travel within Australia. This fresh airline, with its great advertising campaign featuring Magda Szubanski, was greatly anticipated by the Australian public, and while its destination portfolio may not be as extensive as some, this airline has international routes in their itinerary and a vast fleet of aircraft to follow.

With destinations covering most of the popular cities and towns within Australia and its notable reputation for cheap flights this airline is a genuine local. Going that step further, Jetstar also shows their support for Australian sport by sponsoring the Jetstar Gold Coast Titans football team.

Check in early and relax!

The check in time for Jetstar flights open 2 hours before all domestic flights and 3 hours before international flights. So there is plenty of time to grab the family and get to the airport.
